Hi a bit about me, first of all thanks for stopping by The Easy Healthy Way I really do appreciate it, I hope you find recipes and information that you like. Currently I only have recipes as this is a fairly new website and I wanted to build up a collection first, I will be writing about other topics as I continue with my studies.
My name is Tracey and I am currently studying Nutritional Therapy and will be studying my Bachelor Of Science Of Naturopathy later this year. I will be 51 by the time I am qualified as a Naturopath, its never to late too follow your dreams. 🙂
I have always been interested in natural health and have done my own study and research for over 25 years, I have seen Naturopaths since I was 18 and really believe in the healing power of plants in all forms including essential oils. If only the internet was around then!!
I have been aware of the toxic ingredients in personal care products and cleaning products for a long time and live a relatively chemical free life.
I never felt that I could walk my talk as I always struggled to kick the sugar habit but now that I have been sugar free since 2013 with lapses until now. I feel very passionate about helping people especially mums with young kids and I am really interested in the gut microbiome (leaky gut syndrome is a symptom when its out of balance).
I truly believe that I would not have kicked the sugar habit if it wasn’t for the I Quit Sugar Program, I did it twice by myself from the original I Quit Sugar book by Sarah Wilson then did the official online I Quit Sugar 8 Week Program in February of this year and became an I Quit Sugar Ambassador.
Once you start eating real wholefoods something shifts within you that makes you become more grounded or more connected to the earth it really is life changing.
I love cooking, creating and adapting recipes, food styling and food photography, my husband my three daughters , my family, my hand raised pink and grey galah and our two staffies! Yoga is my favourite exercise, I love reading and going to the movies and catching up with friends.
