Home made Cinnamon Almond Butter – Thermomix no sugar, oils or anything nasty, know whats in your food. Save money to!
You can make nut butter out of any nuts or seeds so many combinations to choose from, the softer nuts such as cashews and macadamias wont need as much processing time as the hard nuts especially if you are using a thermomix.
You only need three ingredients
- Sea Salt
Making it in the Thermomix is so easy and quick. I don’t own any other food processor but I have read that you must have plenty of nuts when making and can take up to eight minutes or more, people make nut butters with a Blendtec or a Vitamix also. You need a good quality machine whatever you are using.
I am at the end of week three on the I Quit Sugar 8 Week Program the recipes are amazing the Chicken Burrito Bowl is my favourite so far and the rest of the families. Because I’m not addicted to sugar anymore I don’t get the really bad cravings sometimes I will feel like something slightly sweet and that’s when I have some fudge made with a nut butter or a teaspoon of coconut butter it hits the spot and you don’t need much.
Its best to use activated nuts if you haven’t read why check the activated nuts and seeds post to give you the run down. If I eat them raw they make me feel really sick.
