Breakfasts can be a challenge sometimes but this Healthy Raw Chocolate Mousse takes less than five minutes to make and has healthy fats that will keep you full until lunch time. All you need is a blender and a few ingredients.
There are plenty of chocolate mousse recipes floating around in cyber space and most of them contain avocado for good reason. Avocados are creamy and filling and are really good for you. These are some of the nutrients it contains:
- Vitamin K
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin B5/B6
- Vitamin E
They are only some of the nutrients an avocado contains no wonder they are good for you! Plus they are great for your hair and skin.
It also contains a banana but the serving is only half per person as bananas are high in fructose they actually contain 8 teaspoons of fructose, there is nothing wrong with bananas they are very nutritional but if you eat a lot of them they will spike your insulin levels the same way sugar does.
I have another similar recipe that is a bit more decadent its good for dessert its a chocolate pudding with whipped vanilla salted coconut cream.
