Hi welcome to my blog! Thank you for reading well hopefully somebody is, this is my first post and I am pretty excited about this blog, I am working on building the content and have lots of recipes to come plus other info to make your life easier. My goal is to really help people especially mums to help wade through all of the information out there on health, I know it can be completely overwhelming especially if you are just starting out. I will offer as many free resources as I can and stay tuned for a free Ebook.
I am 46 this year a late bloomer, Ive finally found what works for me and I hope it can help you to from personal experience to the research I have done from some of the great pioneers in real health! Some of the people listed below are the ones that have influenced me the most, check them out.
- David “Avocado” Wolfe
- Dr Mark Hyman
- Dr Sarah Gottfried
- Louise Hay
- Sarah Wilson
- Nick Ortner
- Dr Josh Axe
I have no affiliates with these people they just have great information!
I am currently studying to be a Nutritional Therapist its taking me a while but I will get there. I am really fortunate to not have a “real job” anymore but I use to so I get that people are really busy and just seems to be getting busier and time is vanishing, where does time go??
It really doesn’t take too much time to live a healthier lifestyle I know I was working in a job full time that was 10 hour days and traveling time was up to 2 hours, I know crazy, I finally saw the light! I also managed to quit sugar during that time, I know I can sense you cringing as you read this it really isn’t that hard and it can make such a difference in your life especially if you are hormonal. Another thing I have stopped eating is gluten between not eating sugar and gluten the muffin top I had disappeared I wasn’t actually trying to lose weight but probably should have since I did had a muffin top, everyone knows that belly fat isn’t good, don’t you?
I live by the 80/20 rule sometimes I will eat bread and a little bit of sugar but the majority of the time I eat really well, trust me this hasn’t happened overnight it can be a really slow process but doesn’t need to be. I get addicted to sugar like a drug addict gets addicted to cocaine I know that sounds a bit extreme but that’s how addictive it is studies have been done to prove this as well, who’d have thought. If I do eat sugar it can only be a small amount occasionally otherwise I can feel its claws digging into me truly I do I know if Ive eaten too much as I get really irritable.
Life is about moderation and what works for one person doesn’t always work for another, I’m sure you would have heard this before, no one is perfect if you just do the best you can then all will be well.
Well I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I have enjoyed writing it, here is the first of many. Thanks! 🙂
